Phantom Fireworks is the industry leader in retail sales of consumer fireworks. We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Management team. No prior fireworks experience is required—comprehensive training is provided. This is a full-time, year-round position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Showroom Manager in all aspects of store operations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and fully stocked store environment
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies and document/report issues
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
- Manage cash handling, daily balancing, deposits, and financial reporting
- Complete weekly reconciliations (banking, payroll, expenses, petty cash)
- Maintain proficiency in POS, inventory, and ordering systems
- Oversee store security, including equipment checks and monitoring potential risks
- Assist with local advertising, signage, and community engagement efforts
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
- Attend required trainings, meetings, and annual conferences (travel required)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting
- Proficiency with POS and inventory systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours
- Willingness to travel for training and conferences
