Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Taproom Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in a taproom environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a knowledge and love of craft beer. As a Taproom Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience, from taking orders, pouring beer, and giving a background and knowledge of beer styles, and also education to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge and love of craft beer
- Knowledge of beer styles, tasting descriptions, and beverage trends
- Experience in the food and beverage industry a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including hops, etc.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with the rest of staff, including front of house manager.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Requirements
- Knowledge and love of craft beer, drinks beer
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of beverage safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable cleaning the taproom and bar nightly, including bathroom.
- A team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills is essential for success in this role.
