Phantom Home is seeking an experienced, high-performing National Account Executive / Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our wholesale and retail business across North America. This role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, opening new retail accounts, and growing long-term relationships with buyers, distributors, and key national retailers.

We're looking for a sales professional with a proven ability to build new business, navigate complex buying organizations, and represent a premium consumer brand with confidence and professionalism.

Position Overview

The National Account Executive will lead business development initiatives by identifying new retail opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, managing key customer relationships, and executing sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.

This position requires a proactive, self-motivated professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, negotiating business opportunities, and managing accounts from initial outreach through long-term partnership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new national, regional, and independent retail accounts.
  • Develop relationships with buyers, merchants, distributors, and retail decision-makers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and closing.
  • Grow existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Present Phantom Home collections through virtual meetings, showroom appointments, and in-person sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic sales initiatives and market expansion plans.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Represent Phantom Home at industry trade shows, buyer meetings, and showroom events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging retail opportunities.

Experience working with distributors, buying groups, and international retail partners is also highly valued.


Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in wholesale sales, national account management, or business development.
  • Experience selling consumer products, home goods, kitchenware, housewares, lifestyle products, or related categories.
  • Demonstrated success opening new retail accounts and growing long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and trade shows as needed.
