Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium is offering a part-time opportunity for a part time overnight and weekend transfer associate position at our Brattleboro, VT location. This role involves assisting our full-time staff in the transfer of deceased individuals into our care during overnight and weekend shifts, averaging 10 to 15 hours per week, with possible opportunities during normal business hours as well. The position requires availability to work throughout the night from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM (Overnight). Days of the week are flexible but would prefer both weekday and weekend availability.
We are seeking an ideal candidate with outstanding people skills, a professional demeanor, and a compassionate and caring attitude. The compensation for this position is $30 per hour, with a three-hour guarantee each time you are called. A valid VT or NH driver's license is a must, along with the ability to demonstrate excellent driving skills and road safety.
Applicants must reside within a 15-minute radius of the Brattleboro area, have the capability to lift 75 pounds, pass a background check, and maintain discretion due to the sensitive nature of the job.
