Dispatcher - Window and Door Field Service North Venice, Florida Service 13439 Job Description Summary 🚚 Dispatcher – Field Service 📍 Location: North Venice 🏢 Company: PGT (Part of MITER Brands) 🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 💼 Industry: Window & Door Manufacturing 💵 Compensation - Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.00 (depending on experience) As a Dispatcher – Field Service, you’ll play a key role in coordinating service technicians and ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. You’ll manage scheduling, communication, and logistics to support our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities 📥 Service Intake Receive service requests from processors and determine technician needs. 📅 Scheduling Assign appropriate service techs and coordinate multi-tech jobs. 🗂️ Service Management Review open service lists, prioritize older and urgent cases, and confirm part orders or inspection needs. 🗺️ Logistics Planning Map service locations and communicate availability to customers. 🧾 Documentation Log scheduled services in the Dispatch Log and individual tech calendars (Outlook). 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Team Coordination Communicate with techs regarding job outcomes, site issues, and part orders. 🔁 Rescheduling & Updates Manage reschedules, reopen services, and update distributors as needed. 🕒 Time Tracking Monitor techs’ time off, redirected time, and cross-area support. 🧩 Problem Solving Request parts, close services, and balance workloads across teams. Qualifications 🧠 Reasoning Ability Ability to identify root causes and prioritize tasks effectively. 📚 Education & Skills Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Outlook and scheduling tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively 🪑 Office-Based Frequent sitting, walking, and standing in a typical office setting. 🖐️ Manual Dexterity Regular use of hands and fingers for office equipment. 📞 Communication Oral and auditory capacity for phone and in-person interactions. 📆 Attendance Consistent daily presence required to maintain service levels.
