The Firm :
A long-established New Hampshire law firm is hiring a Workers Compensation Legal Assistant for their Nashua office.
The firm has been operating for more than 40 years and has grown into one of the most respected regional practices in the state, with multiple offices across NH and a team approaching 200 people. They are still growing, and they hire for the long run rather than the next twelve months.
The Role :
This is a hands-on position supporting one workers compensation attorney directly. Your day to day will include:
- Managing cases from intake through to hearing
- Communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
- Preparing medical evidence
- Drafting correspondence and pleadings
- Keeping files moving and progressing through to resolution
The person we are looking for will be :
- Sharp, organised, and genuinely interested in learning the work
- Comfortable on the phone and with deadlines
- The kind of person who follows things through to the end
- A year or more as a legal assistant in any practice area will set you up well
- Insurance claims or medical claims experience translates directly
- Personal injury experience is a real plus
- The tech stack is Microsoft Office and Filevine.
- You will need to be authorised to work in the US, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role
If you have not done workers compensation before, that is fine - full training can be given.
