The SAGE (Seasoned Adults Growing Educationally) Program is seeking an engaging and organized History and Culture Instructor to teach non-credit enrichment courses for older adult learners. Topics may include U.S. and world history, cultural traditions, social movements, art and music history, and other humanities-focused subjects.The instructor will plan and deliver interactive, discussion-based instruction that encourages participation and critical thinking while creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. Instruction is designed for adults aged 60 and older and should reflect diverse perspectives, life experiences, and learning styles.The instructor is expected to remain current in their discipline, assess learning engagement, and participate in curriculum development and professional development activities that support lifelong learning and community connection for older adults.This position is not a remote position and requires teaching on-site.
