Position Summary
The District Manager is responsible for the implementation and sustainability of all programs directed through store operations. Follows up on the implementation of operating programs and procedures consistent with PGATSS broad policies and objectives and ensures a high level of execution. Appraises and evaluates the results of store operations for their district regularly and systematically. Ensures process improvements are in place to enhance customer service levels while supporting organizational profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
- The District Manager leads their store operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies and goals established by the President/C.E.O. Oversees the execution of programs crossing over the following functions and/or business units: operations, loss prevention, labor management, store services/golf instruction, merchandising directives, new store deployment/set up, human resources, and associate training and development.
- Ensures company standards are uniformly met and adhered to across all stores within the assigned district with appropriate and consistent accountability.
- Lead, coach, develop and engage PGATSS store leadership teams with an emphasis on developing capacity in strategic analysis, identifying opportunities and developing plans and programs to achieve organizational goals.
- Provides guidance and feedback to General Managers based on analysis and proper execution of processes and standards, weekly payroll reporting, and partners with General Managers to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria.
- Responsible for the execution of organizational procedures and controls, to promote communication and prompt information flow.
- Participates in the development and preparation of short-term plans and annual store sales and payroll budgets.
- Executes organizational direction by communicating inspiring goals to associates and following up on success delivery of programs and initiatives.
- Education: The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a G.E.D. or High School diploma. BS/BA degree – preferred
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a leadership role and a strong track record in developing talent, implementing programs and prioritizing resources.
- Strong leadership with the aptitude to develop and mentor associates to grow to support organizational needs.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities to ensure that key processes and procedures are implemented and that resources are properly allocated to meet organizational goals.
- Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
- Background in profit and loss management and ability to identify business trends and develop strategies to address opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
- The District Manager frequently travels to store locations in their market and must be able to stand for extended periods of time while visiting.
- Must be able to accommodate a typical retail schedule, work a flexible work week, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
