Duties
- Assist in water damage mitigation by extracting water, setting up drying equipment, and monitoring moisture levels to ensure thorough drying of affected areas
- Support fire and smoke damage cleanup, including debris removal and surface cleaning to restore property integrity
- Perform mold remediation tasks such as containment, removal, and sanitation to eliminate health hazards and prevent future growth
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for demolition, surface cleaning, and minor construction repairs as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress updates for each project
- Gather necessary details for repair work, to include framing, drywall, trim work, cabinetry, painting, etc

- Assist property management with work orders/turn inspections
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and restoration processes across water, fire, mold, and asbestos remediation industries
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction and restoration work
- Ability to operate equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and carpet cleaning machines effectively
- Ability to operate power tools such as power drills, chop saw, table saw, track saw, circular saw, etc.
- Familiarity with the use of restoration industry standards and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients during project execution
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is a plus but not required—training provided! Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
