X-RAY Technician

Our company has a great opportunity for a dependable X-Ray Tech to join our team.

Full-Time, in-person: M-F, 9a-6p

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Job Summary: Performs x-rays per clinician's orders and processes films. May perform C-arm procedures as per technician training. Maintains and documents per regulation. Assist with therapies and other office or clerical duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Basic Radiologic Technician Certification required.
• Current registration is required.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE: Category I exposure to bloodborne pathogens; frequent exposure to chemical hazards; may encounter radiation hazards.

communication.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires visual and auditory acuity adequate for frequent use of computers and other business equipment. Ability to sit for long periods,
move frequently throughout the Facility, overhead and low reaching and ability to exert force of up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs.

• Utilizes appropriate shielding prior to performing x-ray.
  
• Follows principles of aseptic technique in performing duties during the procedure.
  
• Performs required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures as directed.
  
• Handles equipment and instruments correctly to provide availability and safety.
  
• Maintains adequate supplies to provide immediate availability during the procedure.
  
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  
• Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patient and the physician.
  
• Documents and completes required forms according to organization's policy.
  
• Communicates information about the patient's status to others responsible for patient care.
  
• Accurately comprehends orders and directions.
