Duties
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as blades, dozers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to move materials efficiently across the site
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during equipment operation
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and ensure smooth workflow on-site
- Adhere to occupational safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as blades, dozers, loaders, and excavators in a construction setting
- Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and basic equipment maintenance techniques
- Ability to perform routine safety checks and follow equipment safety procedures diligently
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Strong understanding of construction processes including material handling, and farm machinery operation if applicable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
