Position Summary
Oversees the corporate and physical security function. Ensures adherence to regulatory security compliance and policies. Oversee activities of corporate and physical employees and contractors. Provides leadership and expertise in various security functional areas and works closely with Line of Business contacts building strong relationships in order to address security and compliance issues and concerns that affect PG&E's security environment.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $114,000
Bay Area Maximum: $182,000
&/OR
California Minimum: $108,000
California Maximum: $173,000
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborates with leaders, other LOBs, business partners, and external agencies to work on issues, projects or activities.
- Partners with Sourcing and others to ensure contact and record keeping compliance.
- Verifies corrective actions are implemented and validates effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
- Plans, facilitates and schedules regular emergency training exercises.
- Implements regulatory/industry requirements.
- Provides effective leadership, coaching and development of employees through the goal setting and performance evaluation process, development planning process, and providing frequent open and honest feedback.
- Develops and implements training.
- Leads corporate, physical, and investigation security activities.
- Develops security response procedures and measures to implement and monitor assets while ensuring adaptability to business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Leadership experience, security operation centers, or related
- 10 years experience in the physical security or law enforcement field
- CA Class C License, or equivalent
Desired:
- Bachelors Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in security, physical or law enforcement
- Experience in security compliance policies and procedures administration
- NERC-North American Electric Reliability Corporation certification
- Military experience
- IT-Information Technology Security certification
Salary : $114,000 - $182,000
