Role Overview
As a Retention Specialist, you will be an active listener while authenticating information provided for the purpose of funding consumer, short-term personal loans. Our contact center is a fun dynamic environment where you will earn bi-weekly attendance and performance-based bonuses. As a Retention Specialist you will be working as a team to meet daily goals, initiate contact, and follow up with customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Role Responsibilities
· Manage escalated calls with professionalism and composure while working toward positive outcomes.
· Focus on resolving customer concerns efficiently rather than simply addressing surface-level issues.
· Navigate multiple systems, document interactions, and maintain accuracy while actively engaging with customers.
· Consistently provide clear, correct, and up-to-date information to consumers, ensuring alignment with current policies and procedures.
· Maintains strong attendance and dependability, recognizing the impact of presence within a small, high-functioning team.
· Stay current on all company processes, updates, and expectations to ensure consistent performance.
· Effectively communicate updates, challenges, and opportunities with management in a timely and professional manner.
· Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain high quality assurance (QA) scores through adherence to best practices and call standards.
· Manage high volume calls in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus, efficiency, and professionalism throughout the shift.
· Remain engaged and available throughout scheduled hours, demonstrating strong time management and readiness to handle continuous call flow.
Required Skills & Education
· Customer service experience including servicing the customer via phone
· Excellent professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong negotiating skills
· Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change
· Willing to work in a team environment
· Excellent attendance record
· Ability to work independently
· Computer savvy
· Type 30 WPM
· Access to reliable transportation
Pay: 15.00 an Hour Plus Biweekly Bonus

Schedule: Office hours are 7am-7pm Mon-Fri, and 8am-4:30pm Sat. Shifts will be within those hours, 40 hours per week with rotating Saturdays.
