Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced and skilled machine operator to run our flexible magnet production machines. our ideal candidate will bring experience and knowledge in operating print finishing equipment. you will responsable for running our preco die cutters and autobond laminators. while maintaining a strong work ethic and awareness of the surroundings . the candidate will clean and maintain all the assigned equipment daily and troubleshoot any potential malfunctions. Work Location is in Asheboro, NC 1st shift 6:00 am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for running our Preco Die Cutters and AutoBond laminators.
- Successfully run all printing equipment (die cutter, laminators etc.) by using or adjusting the ideal speed, timing and process based on project.
- Inspect and pack out product on the finishing line.
- Follow production schedule and ship dates with a sense of urgency.
- Responsible for accurate task data collection using handheld devices.
- Perform scheduled maintenance. Clean, care, maintain, and lubricate equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Troubleshoot and assist with any potential malfunctions.
- Successfully and safely shut down equipment at the end of each working day.
- Identify production printing errors and immediately redress the process.
- Strong work ethics.
- Work with a team, and be a team player.
- Perform 5S functions as required.
- Assist, aid, and problem-solve all incoming challenges.
- Assist with other work as needed.
Requirements:
- At least two years of prior experience in a Print manufacturing
- Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
- At least two years of experience operating a Preco die-cutting and Autobond laminating machine or similar machines.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve immediate challenges
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Considered coachable, responsible, reliable, disciplined, persuasive, and punctual.
- Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office Suite.
- Identify and fix errors while using equipment.
- Has a strong work ethic and seeks continuous improvement.
