We have a full-time pharmacist position (32 to 40 hours per week) available in our Penticton, British Columbia location at #161 – 2111 Main Street, Penticton, BC Canada V2A 6W6. The hourly wage is $61.00 - $64.00. Your duties will include: Checking prescriptions for proper dosage Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticals Dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage Advising customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication Maintaining medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs Compounding prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing the quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling appropriate containers with correct quantity The successful candidate must be a licensed Pharmacist in Canada.
