What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Agent position at PFF INSURANCE?
We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to help write and service auto, home and life policies. We are looking for a licensed property and casualty agent. Someone with a couple of years of personal customer service experience willing to become licensed would also be considered. A current life insurance agent who would like to get their P&C license would also be considered. If not licensed, someone with customer service in a office setting would be considered. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation.
Responsibilities
- Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc
- Evaluate business or individual customers’ needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
- Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
- Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services
- Handle payments from customers
- Perform endorsements and changes for customers
- Write and service auto, home, and business policies while having access to life insurance leads.
Skills
- Proven working experience as an Insurance agent or relevant experience
- Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Proven ability to work with goals and self motivation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and sell effectively
- High school or BS degree
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus but not necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,200.00 per month
