Insurance Agent

We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to help write and service auto, home and life policies. We are looking for a licensed property and casualty agent or someone willing to become licensed. A current life insurance agent who would like to get their P&C license would also be considered. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation.

Responsibilities

• Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc
• Evaluate business or individual customers’ needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
• Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
• Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services
• Handle payments from customers
• Perform endorsements and changes for customers
• Write and service auto, home, and business policies while having access to life insurance leads.

Skills

• Proven working experience as an Insurance agent or relevant experience
• Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Proven ability to work with goals and self motivation
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and sell effectively
• High school or BS degree
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,900.00 per month
