Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electro Mechanical Technician role based in Milwaukee, WI. The Electro Mechanical Technician will install, maintain, and repair production and facility equipment, ensuring reliable and safe operation of machinery and systems. Responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, and executing corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. The role also involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, collaborating with operations and engineering teams to support process improvements, documenting maintenance activities, and following all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for production and facility systems.
- Experience with Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting to identify root causes and restore equipment to proper function.
- Solid understanding of electricity, including working safely with electrical circuits, controls, and related components.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
- Relevant technical training or certification in electro-mechanical technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Commitment to safety practices, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Effective communication skills and capability to document maintenance work clearly and accurately.
