Career Path

The Service Technical Career Path establishes four levels of technical development:

Tier 1 – Developing → Tier 2 – Independent → Tier 3 – Advanced → Tier 4 – Specialty

The career path defines the technical work an employee is qualified to perform, expected level of independence, specialty competencies, and wage progression. The current structure ranges from foundational Service and repair skills through advanced troubleshooting and specialty technical work.

Technical advancement and Foreman designation are evaluated separately. An employee may serve as a Foreman at any technical tier when they demonstrate the leadership requirements necessary to lead work within their technical capabilities.
