Job Title: Office Assistant
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Office Assistant to help keep our office running smoothly. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. The role is a mix of answering phones, greeting visitors, handling day-to-day administrative tasks, and supporting our team wherever needed. If you enjoy being the go-to person, staying on top of details, and keeping things organized, this could be a great fit for you.
What You’ll Do
No two days will look exactly the same, but here are some of the key responsibilities you can expect:
- Answer and route phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Welcome visitors, clients, and vendors, making sure they feel comfortable and assisted
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving
- Monitoring parts and supplies, creating order requisites for review
- Promptly sort and file so information is easy to find
- Assist with meetings and ordering meals
- Enter data, update records, and help with light reporting as needed
- Provide general administrative support to staff and management
- Jump in on special projects and other tasks as they come up—flexibility is key!
- Provide assistance to Office Manager with quotes, order status and customer support
What We’re Looking For
- Previous office, clerical, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person
- Comfortable in a small company, light industrial working environment
- Comfortable with basic computer programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook (or similar tools)
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting or inventory software a plus
- Strong communication skills—you’ll be the first point of contact for many people, so professionalism and friendliness matter
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities without losing track of details
- A team player with a positive attitude who’s willing to pitch in wherever needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay starting at $25.00 per hour (with potential for increases based on performance and experience)
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
