We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and EXPERIENCED Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries.
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring items are secured during transport.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary if possible.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with loading and unloading cargo safely.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
