Pezza Landscape is a family-owned landscape company proudly serving the Chicagoland area since 1951. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Landscape Restoration Crew Leader to lead a crew responsible for restoring residential and commercial properties after utility work has been completed.

Job Summary
As a Landscape Restoration Crew Leader, you will oversee the restoration of landscapes that have been disturbed by utility companies. The primary focus of this position is restoring turf through proper seeding, sodding, grading, and site cleanup while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a landscape restoration crew on daily job assignments.
- Restore damaged lawns using seed, sod, topsoil, and grading techniques.
- Prepare soil for successful seed and sod establishment.
- Operate landscaping equipment including skid steers, compact equipment, sod cutters, power rakes, and hand tools.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, utility representatives, and management.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Train and mentor crew members while promoting a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, restoration, construction, or related outdoor work.
- Prior crew leadership experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability.
- Ability to operate landscape equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read work orders and follow project specifications.
