Job description6 Month Contract-to-HireContact Hourly Rate is $25-28 / hrSalary Conversion Range $50-60K, DOESimpsonville, SC8 openingsMUST have a valid Driver's LicenseMUST be able to pass a background check, drug screen and DMV / driving record checkVehicle allowance and corporate card OR mileage reimbursement includedSUMMARY : PRG has partnered with a rapidly growing ISP to help them identify and hire 8 technically savvy OSP Fiber Install / Construction Technicians to help manage the buildout of a new network.The Fiber Install Leaders will be looking for current permits, PPE, customer issues, personnel issues, and other day to day items. Each Construction Tech will be assigned 3 separate (ISP / OSP) crews to ensure they are operating at 100% efficiency.Responsibilities : Provide on-site coordination of fiber optic cabling, installation, modification, and splicing work performed by crewSurvey job sites to determine the best installation practicesCoordinate workflow within the field, acting as company liaisonReal time identification of punchlist itemsEnsure and maintain all company quality control and safety requirementsIdentify performance issues and recommend and implement corrective actionCoordinate scheduling and ensure adequate crew capacityPerform quality control inspections and correct issues and complaints in real timeResolve complaints with property owners in areas where personnel are workingQualifications : 6 months of outside / OSP fiber experience (installing, trenching, pulling fiber, running the tracer to pull the fiber into the conduit, blow, manhole work, etc.)Any related Telecom Construction experience - helpfulTeam leadership skills / experience desiredExcavations experience a plusMust have excellent communication & customer service skillsMust have a valid state driver's license and safe / clean driving recordAbout PRGWith 20 years of success in the staffing industry, Peyton Resource Group focuses on matching talent to the precise needs of our clients.
