Location: Pexton Pharmacy – Harlan, IA
Job Type: Full-time - 40 hours/week (4 days/week)
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Closed Weekends & Major Holidays)
Salary: $124,000 – $132,000 per year (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently conduct DUR and final verification of prescription medications for both retail and LTC patients.
- Practice accountability under Iowa's standard of care framework, utilizing clinical judgment to provide therapeutic substitutions and clinical services.
- Actively participate in clinical initiatives through CPESN, including comprehensive medication management and other clinical services.
- Oversee advanced compliance packaging programs and manage workflow alongside a highly skilled, dedicated team of pharmacy technicians.
- Provide exceptional counseling and clinical consultations to patients, caregivers, and local providers.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Iowa (or eligibility for licensure).
- Strong clinical mindset with a desire to practice autonomously under a standard of care model.
- Excellent leadership abilities to guide a technician-driven workflow.
- Independent pharmacy or LTC experience is a plus, but a collaborative and positive attitude is required.
Pay: $124,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year
