What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at Pexco?
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strictly adheres to Company and plant safety policies and procedures.
Completes all annual training as required.
Work with the Engineering Department to build and assemble dies according to specifications and blueprints and the ability to build more complex parts and dies.
Effectively troubleshoots machine problems through knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic sub-assemblies.
Assist in the installation of new machinery, the preventative maintenance program and technical problems, including electrical and mechanical to eliminate manufacturing difficulties.
Assures that employees are provided with proper training and safe use of equipment, maintained tools, machines and equipment.
Assures that all Health and Safety Requirements are observed and that areas are maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
Assist the Engineering department in developing and implementing maintenance strategies.
Support Production’s specific objectives to ensure company goals are met.
Communicate with management and engineering.
Promote and follow company business practices and policies.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Moving and lifting objects up to 60 lbs
Walking, standing on concrete 8 hrs/day
Sitting/working at a CAM station
Works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Climate may be cold or hot depending on outside temperature. Machine Shop environment with machinery noise, occasional odors of coolant, oils and machined metals
Pay Rate: $30/hr - $35/hr
Salary : $30 - $35
