What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Recruiting Specialist position at PetWellClinic?
Results Statement:
To serve as the primary touchpoint for veterinarian recruitment within the PetWellClinic franchise system. To actively recruit veterinarians for franchisees and clinic locations in need of veterinarians, including on online platforms like LinkedIn, really, AVMA, emailing, messaging, phone calling and others. To maintain the PetWellClinic website job board. To target universities and veterinary schools and lead recruiting efforts in schools, including establishing and cultivating relationships with students and faculty, attend/exhibit at career fairs and recruiting events, and develop hiring pipelines of recent graduates. To support franchisees in their recruiting efforts on the local level, including leading franchisee veterinary recruitment training and answering franchisees’ recruiting questions. To maintain all written resources related to veterinary recruitment within PetWellClinic, including training material and guides. To serve as an advocate for PetWellClinic’s brand standards.

- Serve as the primary touchpoint for franchisees’ communication with the franchisor in regards to recruiting veterinarians

- Handle clerical and office tasks at PetWellClinic HQ as needed
- Guide franchisees in adhering to PetWellClinic’s values as they relate to our brand standards and operations
- Lead and/or assist in executing existing operational strategies and brand standards
- Guide franchisees in adhering to PetWellClinic brand standards and compliance
- Must be very responsive to incoming communications coming from prospects which may involve answering calls, emails, texts on weekends and after hours
Strategic Work
- Drive existing veterinary recruiting programs and develop new recruiting strategies and programs that align with the development of PetWellClinic’s growth and brand standards
- Help franchisees navigate veterinarian recruitment
- Lead and/or assist in the creation of university-level veterinary student and recent graduate recruitment
- Lead and/or assist in the development of new veterinarian recruiting strategies
- Report to and collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer on the development and execution of PetWellClinic’s recruiting and growth strategies, both nationally and at the franchisee/local level

- The work week is from Monday through Friday. Exceptions will be for on-site training, trade shows, and travel which could include weekends.
- No compete agreement to limit employment with any other pet franchise company.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary $55,000 annually plus bonus for each veterinarian recruited and employed by a PetWellClinic
