What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant position at PetU?
We are hiring animal lovers to join our team! We are a "dog school" that provides dog training, daycare, and boarding. PetU is a locally owned and operated, women-led small business in the southeastern WI area. We pride ourselves on providing resources, tools, and services that help dogs and their humans be the best team they can be. At PetU, our services are personalized for each and every dog from their play groups, nap times, and extra love and pets for our special needs dogs.

Duties:
- Staff communicates with other staff, management, and clients about dog behavior and general updates about dogs health and habits.
- Monitoring play groups, maintain appropriate play, follow daily schedules such as feedings, medication, bathing, and behavior assessments
- Maintain sanitary needs and cleanliness throughout the facility including vacuuming, mopping, picking up feces, washing dishes, etc.
- Employees are required to stand for duration of shift, lift heavy objects (dogs or dog food).
Qualifications:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Education.
- Reliable transportation.
Experience with dogs in a professional setting such as dog daycare, kenneling facilities, vet clinics, grooming, or professional dog-walking is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 28 per week
