Petty's Meats in Longwood Is Now Hiring A Friendly and Knowledgeable Wine Department Associate For Our Gourmet Market.
Job Description:
- Assist Customers with Purchases and Make Recommendations
- Communicate with Vendors to Place Wine and Beer Orders
- Check in Orders and Verify Invoice Accuracy
- Price Product and Stock Retail Shelves
- Assist with Planning Promotional Tasting Events
- Keep Work Place Clean and Organized
- Answer Phones and Direct Calls to Appropriate Department
Qualifications:
- Must be At Least 21 Years Old
- Must Have Notable Knowledge of Wine and Beer
- Availability to Work Full Time Monday-Saturday
- Must be Friendly, Approachable, and Provide Great Customer Service
- Ability to Lift and Carry up to 40 lbs.
- Experience With Wholesale Purchasing is Preferred
- Basic Math Skills and Ability To Read, Write, and Understand English
- Works With A Sense Of Urgency and is Comfortable in a Fast-Paced Environment
- We Are A Drug Free Workplace. Applicant Must Be Willing To Take A Drug Screen
- Ability To Stand Or Walk Without A Break For Up To 4 Hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
