Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and ensuring variety in meal options
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients properly to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances through regular cleaning and sanitation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
- Support dietary department needs by understanding specific dietary requirements and accommodating special requests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of safety standards in food production and food handling procedures
- Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for efficient prep work
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
