Drive Business Results with Primary Focus on Winning New Customers:
- Achieve annual sales objectives, meet monthly KPIs, and utilize Pettibone’s CRM software.
- Continually prospect to identify, prioritize, maintain and act upon target list of new customers.
- Promote Pettibone’s competitive advantages & value propositions effectively to grow sales.
- Work with Heico Marketing to build an aligned outreach strategy to solicit new business.
- Develop & deliver presentations to prospective buyers via web-based communication tool such as Microsoft Teams.
- Overcome customer delays & objections.
- Demonstrate strong closing skills.
- Build strong working relationships with other internal departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Must be successful in working in all professional settings including company office, field, customer & home office environments.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop and demonstrate proficient knowledge regarding machine features, benefits, operations, warranty, and general machine operation.
- Develop a working knowledge of competitive products
- Develop a working knowledge of applications in which telehandlers operate
- Become capable of communicating the differentiating features, advantages and benefits of Pettibone’s telehandler products from competitors
Experience and Education:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Inside Sales experience related to selling capital equipment.
- Education: B.A. or B.S. Degree.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
- Technology: Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM/ERP software.

Supervisory Responsibility - This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or as the job requires.
Travel – This position requires minimal travel in North America and/or globally.
Work Environment – This role offers a dynamic and engaging work environment, combining the flexibility of in-office work with the benefits of remote work. The employee is occasionally in an active operating environment and near moving mechanical parts.
