Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area for a Veterinary Practice Franchise Owner. The Franchise Owner will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the veterinary practice, including patient care, staff management, business operations, client relations, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks will involve diagnosing and treating animal illnesses, performing surgeries, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a high standard of care for all patients. Additionally, the owner will manage financial records, marketing efforts, and customer service to ensure the success and growth of the practice.
Qualifications
- Veterinary skills, including diagnosing illnesses, performing surgeries, and providing general medical care
- Experience in business operations, including financial management, marketing, and customer service
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Oregon
- Experience in veterinary practice ownership or management is a plus
