Scope and Responsibilities: The Inventory Coordinator:
- will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels within the manufacturing operations
- will work with receiving, storage and retrieval functions to track movements and coordinate with other departments to ensure operational goals are achieved
- will ensure Accurate inventory records are maintained within the ERP system as well as physical inventory count documents, files and reports
- will administer an inventory auditing program with daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts as well as full inventory counts to discover discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy
- will be responsible for identifying developing and implementing process improvements to optimize the inventory management process
- will ensure stock rotation principles are executed properly to minimize waste and spoilage
- will work closely with the procurement team to optimize stock levels and minimize inventory carrying costs
Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Proven experience in inventory coordination or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
