Petrolink Energy, LLC is a midstream gathering, processing, and treating company with more than 3,200 miles of pipeline operating across 22 counties in eastern Oklahoma. Our work supports a wide range of contracts and product types within the energy industry.
The Operations Specialist independently performs a variety of operational and maintenance duties associated with pipeline systems, compression equipment, and related facilities. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of pipelines, compressors, pumps, valves, seals, and associated equipment to support reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform compression maintenance and basic electrical/instrumentation repairs
Maintain line pressure and perform hydrate removal activities including pigging, balling, and drip removal
Conduct pipeline line surveys and leak detection monitoring
Coordinate system shutdowns for new connections, maintenance, or pipeline repairs
Execute lock-out/tag-out procedures and safely start and stop compressor units
Monitor equipment performance and fluid levels
Record operational data and perform minor mechanical maintenance (valves, fittings, etc.)
Operate dehydration and amine treating units
Troubleshoot abnormal operating conditions and coordinate with technical or craft personnel as needed
Respond to callouts and operational emergencies outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of natural gas pipeline or related industry experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of DOT Parts 192 and 195 regulations
General knowledge of environmental regulations
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to work independently in field environments
Strong attention to safety procedures and operational standards
Ability to work in outdoor conditions including extreme weather and remote locations
