Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of the mechanical requirements to safety operate a commercial vehicle by conducting accurate pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
• Safely demonstrate driving skills by maneuvering truck into position at loading rack and customer sites.
• Accurately read gauges or meters and record data per company protocol.
• Reliably follow daily delivery schedules to deliver fuel to customers.
• Deliver fuel to below-ground tanks.
• Follow company protocol to purge fuel from truck during and after shift.
• Uphold Department of Transportation and Department of Ecology safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain communication with immediate manager and transportation dispatch.
• Communicate effectively with customers and maintain good customer relations

Job Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver License and acceptable driving/safety record.
• Class A, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• TWIC Card (company will help acquire if needed).
• 2 years CDL driving experience.
• Fuel tanker driving experience preferred.
• Must be flexible on shift assignments.
