Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for the build-out and renovation of high-end interior spaces in the greater New York City region. You will play a critical role in helping us win new projects and manage project costs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials,
and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to ensure the accuracy of project
estimates.
• Develop and maintain project cost databases.
• Evaluate offers from sub-contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project specs.
• Monitor and track project budgets, identifying variances and advising on corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for clients and management.
• Participate in post-project analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• At least 4 years of experience as a Construction Estimator
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation software such as
On-Screen Takeoff, Procore
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
