San Francisco, CA Full Time

Who We Are

We’re on a mission to stop the most dominant cyberattacks on the planet.

Petra Security runs an AI-powered platform to protect SMBs from account takeovers. SMBs spend over $100 Billion a year on cybersecurity and are facing increasingly sophisticated and frequent attacks. Business Email Compromise attacks (BECs) have exploded, rising 141% y/y, largely driven by AI phishing. They have become the #1 way that businesses lose money to cyberattacks. Petra detects more attacks and responds faster than any competitor on the market, while also triggering fewer false positives.

We’ve grown very quickly, reaching mid-7-figures in ARR in a year. Over the last year, we’ve established ourselves as the best-in-class solution for account attack detection (check out our research). We already protect over 1.6 Million users across 10,000 businesses. We win 90% of head-to-heads. We price premium, yet have extremely low customer churn. Our customers consistently tell us that Petra is the best product they’ve ever used. You can see a demo of Petra here.

This is a rare chance to join early and help scale to $20M in revenue in the next 12 months.

Our founders are YC W24, and ex-Abnormal Security, Palo Alto Networks, and Bridgewater.

What You’ll Do

Tradeshows and field events are one of our primary pipeline channels. You'll own the entire lifecycle, from selecting and booking events to running the booth to making sure every lead is followed up on. This is a high-ownership, high-output role where the details matter.

  • Own conference logistics end to end: sponsorship contracts, booth setup, shipping, staffing, badging, hotel blocks, and everything in between
  • Manage our annual events calendar: evaluate which conferences are worth attending, recommend where to invest, and own the plan through execution
  • Run the booth: be on the ground at events, coordinate the team, and make sure we come home with qualified leads
  • Organize and execute roadshow dinners and partner events to deepen relationships with MSP partners before and after tradeshows
  • Own post-event follow-up: work closely with the BDR and AE team to make sure every lead is tracked, followed up on, and converted
  • Build and manage vendor relationships: booth builders, swag suppliers, AV, and other event vendors
  • Track and report on event ROI: know which events are driving pipeline and which aren't, and bring a point of view on where to invest next

What You Bring

  • 3-7 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or conference management, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end tradeshow logistics including sponsorship contracts, booth setup, vendor coordination, shipping, on-site execution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams to drive pipeline from events, and measuring ROI
  • Strong vendor and partner relationship management
  • Bonus: familiarity with the MSP channel or cybersecurity industry

How You Show Up

  • Obsessively organized - you keep a million details in order without getting overwhelmed.
  • Meticulous - you triple-check everything. You run a tight ship and nothing slips.
  • Decisive - you act quickly with good judgment. You gather what information you can, make a call, and own it.
  • Relationship-oriented - you naturally build strong relationships, whether with MSP partners, event organizers, or other vendors.
  • Resourceful - you figure out how to pull things off even when the timeline is tight or the budget is constrained.
  • High energy - you bring it at events, even on day three of a tradeshow.

  • Healthcare, dental, vision, all the good stuff
  • Meals when working in the office
  • Commuting stipend
  • Every tool you need to succeed
