Duties
- Engage with potential clients through various channels, including telemarketing, networking, and outside sales efforts.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare RFPs to obtain quotations.
- Prepare and present proposals to close sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining client relationships.
- Conduct follow-up communications to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions through effective sales administration practices.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for increasing market reach and improving service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Proven experience in sales or servicing life and health insurance accounts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing client accounts effectively.
- A valid insurance license is required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is essential.
