Veterinary Assistant

PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic in Albany, NY is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to our team. Veterinary Assistant

PetMedic in Albany, NY

$21.00 an hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist DVM and technicians with patient restraint and medical treatments
• Communicate effectively with clinical team and clients
• Comfortable with client education (reviewing medications, relaying treatment plans and discharge instructions)
• Obtain radiographs and perform in house bloodwork
• Clean exam rooms and replenish inventory as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Urgent care or ER experience preferred but not required
• Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts
