Finger Dexterity - Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Climb, Bend, Balance, Stoop, Kneel or Crawl - Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
Talking/Hearing - Continually required to talk or hear
Visual Accuity - Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
Lifting/Pushing/Carrying – Occasionally required to lift more than 50 lbs. at a time with frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying of up to 25lbs

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures all fish and fish habitats are cared for in a manner that best ensures pet health and customer safety.
- Maintains a high level of animal husbandry through proper opening, daily, and closing procedures by following checklists and procedures.
- Maintains a high level of customer service and sales in the Fish Department through the use of the Petland Mission, 5-Step Sale and 4-Basic Needs sheets.
- Maintains a high standard of appearance and professionalism.
- Ensures that fish and reptile health is monitored, and proper records are maintained.
- Maintains a high level of presentation by properly decorating and maintaining the tanks.
- Conducts regular fish and reptile inventories and maintains accurate related documentation.
- Purchases and prices fish as needed using internal tools and resources.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

- Prefer six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems experience a plus
- Sales or customer service experience required
