What You'll Do

As a COTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide quality occupational therapy services to our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide occupational therapy treatments according to established care plans.

• Assist residents in improving strength, mobility, coordination, and independence with daily activities.

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• Monitor residents' progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist and care team.

• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.

• Educate and encourage residents throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Collaborate with nursing and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals.

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment for residents.

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.

• Appropriate state licensure or eligibility to practice in West Virginia.

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, dependable, and team oriented.

• Passion for helping residents achieve greater independence.

• Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
