Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Railcar Switching. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of railcars within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of railcar movement and air brake operations. 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Move empty railcars out and reset full cars for the next day.
- Radio communication between engineer, conductor and brake man.
- Safely operate and maneuver railcars within designated areas, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize air brake systems effectively to control the movement of railcars.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate switching operations and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of railcar movements.
Qualifications
- Experience or training in air brake operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.

- Railroad experience preferred.
