Shift Information
This position is Full time working Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. Late and call shifts required.

What You Will Do
Acts as patient advocate during the Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy Procedure by implementing a plan to protect them from injury, wrong site surgery and infection. Coordinates the patient’s care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient’s physical and emotional needs, while assisting the physician. Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
Required Education
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Required Skills
Current nursing assessment and patient care skills, ability to communicate effectively, ability to master new skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of all phases of perioperative care; Meditech experience
Required Licensure/Registration Certification
Unrestricted Texas license as a Registered Nurse and certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Preferred Licensure/Registration Certification
LVN or Certification as a Surgical Technologist. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Required Experience
One year experience as a RN in a hospital or outpatient environment.
Preferred Experience
One year experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Endoscopy Center
