This position is Full-Time, Three 12 hour shifts, Night Shift: 7pm-7am

What You Will Do
The OB Technician is responsible for assuring quality patient care by coordinating with the circulator in the planning and implementation of patient care in the OR. Responsible for assisting surgeons, nurses and anesthesia providers in providing quality patient care by ensuring cleanliness and equipment availability for anesthesia. Maintains AORN and AST standards to ensure patient safety at all times. Assists surgeon with gowning, gloving, draping of the sterile field and performing technical tasks. Performs Clerical duties and stocking of supplies. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and phone skills. Must be able to multitask and handle stressful situations. Is a positive role model and promotes teamwork.
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program or Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
Preferred Education
Associate degree
Required Skills
Familiarity with medical terminology. Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Meditech, basic clerical skills
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification
Certification as a Surgical Technologist or Licensed Vocational Nurse, Basic Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Preferred Experience
1-3 years of work as a Surgical Technologist or Licensed Vocational Nurse
