This position is responsible for the procurement of materials, suppliers and services required by the organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include assisting with:

• Receipt entry in our accounting software of ALL Material Received to the facility 

• Review/Update Open Order Schedule and confirm with suppliers

• Ensure all order documents are received and filed.

• Review and sign ALL receiving checklist for materials received.

• Use strong Excel skills to create and/or update Excel spreadsheets as necessary.

• Assist Logistics Department improvement projects.

• Performs other duties as assigned

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 Requirements

• College, Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Competitive nature with sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Possess organizational skills in a detail-oriented setting
• Team player with ability to multitask in a results-driven environment
• Proficient in MS Office skills and related computer knowledge

Skills & Qualifications

• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. Procurify or SpendMap)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of market research
• Solid organizational skills
