We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving and Shipping Associate to join our shipping team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, using power tools to build custom pallets, and reading measurements accurately. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by assembling and packaging products securely.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse.
- Use power tools to build custom pallets tailored to specific shipment requirements.
- Read and interpret measurements using a ruler to ensure proper sizing of pallets and packaging materials.
- Maintain organized inventory records and update stock levels as needed.
- Assist with general warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and staging goods for shipment or storage.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is required.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping procedures is preferred.
- Ability to use power tools confidently for pallet construction.
- Proficiency in reading measurements accurately with a ruler.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
