The Technical Trainer provides a comprehensive technical employee learning and development program that enhances knowledge, skills, and performance of technical employees, the Peterson organization and Peterson customers. The Trainer analyzes, researches, develops and designs, organizes and implements and conducts training programs. The Technical Trainer champions a continuous learning environment.

Duties include: Determines objectives and writes training curriculum, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs technical exercises. Lectures cover safety, installation, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, new technologies, and associated equipment. Additionally, the person administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.

A candidate needs an Associates Degree or a Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in a closely related field; and a minimum of six years of directly related experience in the heavy equipment industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $106,000.00 per year
