Peterson Cat has a need for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at our San Leandro, CA location. The Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) Manager will be responsible for all facets of corporate and consolidated financial planning and analysis. The FP&A Manager will partner with various business units and upper management, gain invaluable experience with visibility into Peterson’s business & operations and create impact within a growing Finance organization. The FP&A Manager will be deeply involved with high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, deliver business analytics & insights and make recommendations for short and long-term decisions. Job functions include the following:
- Work cross-functionally with operations and business teams to prepare quarterly rolling forecasts and annual business plans.
- Lead forecast processes, including income statement, cash flow, balance sheet and financial covenants.
- Develop long-range analysis and forecasts.
- Prepare what-if models, discounted cash flow models and analysis, business analysis, pro forma financial statements and forecasts and make recommendations to assist with short- and long-term decision-making.
- Prepare variance analysis and address variances with business unit leaders.
- Develop, assess and maintain metrics to help drive financial and operational performance.
- Report on financial forecasts and provide actionable insights to upper management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business units to support overall financial strategy and achieve strong business results
- Continuously streamline processes to eliminate inefficiencies and improve results.
- Leverage Workday, Adaptive, Salesforce and SQL to automate and enhance existing processes.
- Assist in the development of overall financial and business strategy.
- Supervise a team of analysts: hire, train, develop, and address performance issues in a timely manner and with documentation.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
A candidate for the opening needs a Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Accounting or Finance, or a closely related field; a minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in financial analysis or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Thorough knowledge of corporate finance concepts. FPAC Certification is a plus. Supervisory experience is required.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
