Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Paralegal located in Cleveland, OH. The Litigation Paralegal will provide support to attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, managing case files, and assisting with trial preparations. Responsibilities include gathering and organizing evidence, maintaining case calendars and deadlines, drafting motions and pleadings, coordinating with clients and witnesses, and attending court proceedings as needed. The role requires a strong ability to navigate legal processes and ensure compliance with court procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of legal research and familiarity with litigation processes
- Experience in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
- Excellent organizational skills for managing case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and witness coordination
- Proficiency in legal software and tools for document management and research
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent paralegal certification
- Previous experience working as a litigation paralegal or in a similar legal role is preferred
