Responsibilities
- Implement and manage cybersecurity controls aligned with CMCS and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and support incident response.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and risk analyses.
- Maintain and optimize firewalls, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, and access management tools.
- Oversee and mentor a Cybersecurity Analyst, providing guidance, task direction, and performance support.
- Prepare and maintain security documentation, including configurations and compliance evidence.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure secure architecture and audit readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3--5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
- Direct experience within Nuclear, Aerospace, or Defense Manufacturing industries.
- Handson knowledge of threat detection, mitigation, and industrystandard security tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
- Certifications such as Security , CEH, CISSP, or GIAC.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory inspections, or compliance programs in highsecurity sectors.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring cybersecurity staff.
