Responsibilities
- Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, demand planning, and stock control using inventory management systems.
- Lead procurement activities by sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories, negotiating pricing, terms, and supplier agreements to maximize value.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge and mechanical understanding to verify parts compatibility and quality for automotive service needs.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong supplier management experience with a track record of successful negotiation and vendor relationship building.
- Hands-on knowledge of automotive parts management, sourcing procedures, inventory control systems, and logistics inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, vehicle systems understanding, and OEM parts sourcing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of procurement management practices including demand planning and pricing strategies to optimize inventory levels while controlling costs.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with automotive service knowledge to support parts compatibility assessments and troubleshooting.
