Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an International Freight Forwarder at Peters & May Group. The Freight Forwarder will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to intermodal freight forwarding services, import & export, customer service and transportation via air, ocean and ground. The role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL but allows for some work from home.
Qualifications
- Logistics and Freight Forwarding skills
- Export/Import and Transportation skills
- Multimodal experience a plus
- Air Export experience essential
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures
